Nearly thirty years of Third Street Surf
This is a made-up sample story. It shows a second business with a story of its own.
Marcus Reyes was nine when his parents opened Third Street Surf in 1998. He swept the floor after school and learned ding repair from his father in the garage behind the house.
A family shop
"My mom ran the register and knew every kid's name," Marcus says. "A lot of those kids bring their own kids in now."
You can buy a board anywhere. People come here because somebody will ask how the last one treated you.
Lessons on the sand
The shop runs lessons most mornings from spring through fall. Beginners start on the sand, and nobody paddles out until they can pop up ten times in a row.
